The Renault alarm system works only on door, boot and bonnet contacts or any other componet which shows a voltage drop. The interior of the car is protecetd by volumetric air pressure sensors. You can shake the car all day long and it won't activate - thank goodness for that as it don't disturb the neighbours and other poor folks who need to sleep so they can go to their work next day. The old vibration sensors system where notoriously unreliable
