Hi and a very warm welcome to the forums.

1st. Yes the boot should lock with the remote central locking. It sounds as if something has broken or come apart inside the lock.

2nd. The radio code could be with you....
It may even be on the radio unot itself. Silly I know but some write it on the unit for future reference. It may also be on any invoice or service manual that came with the car.
It not you can get it from your local Renault dealer (you will need the Reg no of the car and possibly the chassis no and 10.00 plus VAT)

Fitting an aftermarket stereo is quite straightwards although not too many work with the steering controlls and the digital readout by the clock.

3rd. As daft as it seems the only door that will lock if you are using a key is the one your locking. So none of the others will lock. The only way to lock all the doors is by using the key plip.
