It seems like you have to remove a fair bit of trim inc rear seat to get the wheel arch trim off.
As I recall from taking the amp out of my Ph1 Initiale boot (same position).
Remove boot floor carpet
Remove width trim along the lock/slam edge
Undo a few clips on the wheel arch carpet and peel back. Worked fine for me.
