Laguna brakes

I am experiencing problems with the brakes on my 2000 Laguna elize.
I drive two or three miles normal driving through town, as you are using the brakes quite a bit you can feel the car starting to slow down as the brakes seem to bind on till you can drive no more.
It seems it is something with the servo as the brake pedal is right to the top and very hard, but if you start the car and really press on the brake pedal and i mean really hard it seems to release the brakes a little.
If you leave it for a couple of hours and try to drive it ,it is as it should be .
Has anyone any info or had similar probs.
