From what I can remember the Mk1 clio uses a standard shape radio so it should drop straight in.
As for a harness adaptor I'm not sure. Someone in the shop where you buy the radio should be able to tell to. Or go to Halfords or motorworld. The should be able to advise and sell you one if it's needed. Most Renaults use the standard ISO connector anyway so you might not even need one.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
