I think so nowadays with the use of a Full thin synthetic; I do realise that there are 'old school' diesel owners who still let the car tick over for 2 minutes at both start and end of a journey. This comes from a number of years ago when the oil might be a straight 30 or 40 grade and so was quite thick taking time to circulate and warm to become thinner. equally being a mineral oil 2 minutes at the end of a journery would not only take the speed out of the spinning turbo but would have allowed time for the turbo to cool reducing the likelyhood of heatsoak breaking the oil . Modern synthetics are really so very much better.
