Just tried to replace the rear pads using a RH tool fromSykes Pickovant
which is like a giant pair of circlip pliers. It virtually impossible to get enough pressure to push the piston back while winding it - keeps falling off and needing to be repositioned. Should have bought one of the Draper / Sealey sets, which is what I plan to do now!
Certainly for the O/S rear on a Lag 2 1.9dci, the RH tool resulted in zero movement and the good old fashioned G clamp didn't get a single mm of movement (even with the bleed screw open).
