Bad news doesn't even come close.
If you can call it a good outcome I am getting a full set of new valves, in and ex and a very good family friend runs the workshop entrusted with the work. Of all the motors I have rebuilt over the years I have only used one shop for cams/heads and that's the one so I do trust them explicitly too and for good reason I haven't had any bad outcomes in 4 engine rebuilds.
