Have read an article in Auto Express that seems to be the maddest lunacy I have heard in a while.
It seems the Department of Transport has come up with an idea (white paper) to cut accidents in younger inexperienced drivers.
This has not been put forward to be made law as yet and is still only at the idea stage but certainly seems to have outraged Auto Express readers.
They want to make it illegal for under 21's to drive in the dark!
They obviously have not thought this out.
How do they get to and from work in the winter?
It is an infringment of their human rights and discrimination.
If you are 21 or older and just passed your test you are equally as inexperienced.
Just to point out I am the wrong side of 40 so does not affect me but is definately one to keep an eye out for.
They can not be allowed to bring in such discriminatory legislation.
