One way to find out is try. The keyfob resync should not affect the other key(s).
Here is another recipe copied from this site for emergency use. It is slightly different to yours. I have not tested it out myself as I have had no proper reason to do it yet.
Kangoo Keyfob Resync
Disconnect battery for over 5 min's (this resets the computer i think), reconnect battery.
Then hold down the internal central locking button for 5 seconds the main red light will go to solid red.
Press the internal central locking button twice.
Then holding the key fob button insert into ignition (still holding the button) and turn to the pre ignition position where the glow plugs light lights up.
