Cause: Pressing the stop button, Pressing again (not meaning to) and Pressing the stop again. Diesel Fuel light showed empty because it did not have time to read how much was in the tank, so showed empty even if you started and stopped the car.

Fix: Put more Diesel in the car, without the card key in the slot. Start the car and light fuel light is off and gage working again.

Another way of fixing this could be the take one of the battery clips off for one hour.
