Im not sure about the clio either but i recently done a wing on a 2001 megane, was very simple, a few bolts but the bumper does need to be removed. Its the same on the older megane so maybe the clio will be the same? hope so. It took me around 2.5 hours in the dark with just the headlights from my car and a small torch.
I used 10+13mm spanners
10+13mm sockets with a couple of extension bars and a ratchet handle ofcourse.
think i had to use a couple of screwdrivers to remove the plastic around the window wipers to get at a bolt.

and as said above by paul, use masking tape. I would also put a strip down the side of the door, i managed to scratch my brothers door while fitting the wing.
