Left or Right - just checking..N/S or O/S
I know this is a really basic but I don't want to assume anything. Some car spares dealers specify parts for left or right hand. Is it always the case that left hand refers to British N/S and right hand refers to British O/S?
It would cause less confusion if they used "driver's /passenger's side" or "N/S, O/S but presumably the parts are specified in that way so there is no ambiguity for LHD cars.
I hope I said that the correct way round, because it depends on just where you stand (or sit)!
