Yes there should be an o ring there. I'm just looking at a 1.9dci with this problem. Replaced that O ring but still blasting
out of any intake joint it can, and the crankcase pressure when taking off the
filler cap (engine running) is too much.
has no play in spindle, so today am looking at
breather cannister (at front of engine and part of the
filler cap body). Will remove the cannister as the
takes ages to fill - I am guessing the bottom of the breather is blocked where it fits to the block.
Also, if you had a
make sure they drained the intercooler otherwise it will smoke for ages until the
gets blown through the system.
