Hey i have the same problem , went to a main dealer , was charged near 50 for a reset which took nearly 2 hours (i waited as i was told it wouldnt take long) the carpet and transmission tunnel was covered in oily marks upon return and the esp light came back on in a few miles , i could have done the same by disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes for free, it comes on intermmitantley and i have been informed by the dealer that i need a new computer at massive cost i would imagine , i thought it was just a sensor and wish it was , if anyone knows how to disable this i would be in seventh heaven it is sooooo annoying ,good luck mate and let me know how you get on , Alan
