mine went recently after scraping the bottom of the car. The replacement ones are much much stronger. It looks like they recognised them to be a weak point and uprated them. Only problem is now, that I can't get the fuel filler pipe to stay straight, so I can only get about 12p of fuel in at a time unless i do it at a rate of a few pence a second at the petrol station. I've taken them off again today to try and get it sorted, and it looks like it's going to be really tricky..
w/ regards to the 13mm bolts seizing. I couldn't get mine off until I liberally sprayed wd40, and then they came off no problems at all, and mines a 97
