Scenic 1 Scrap or Save?

About to take delivery of a Grand Scenic to replace the wifes ageing Scenic I.

We were going to sell the car as its a W reg 1.4 with only 48k on the clock.

Unfortunately it is developing some faults which are worrying me:

Airbag Warning light - took it to a diagnostic place today and got 136 - Steering wheel airbag Squib - I guess this means the coupler may be knackered

Also showed a Lambda sensor fault - which may explain the uneven idle we have

Biggest issue is the bang we get every time we change gear and let the clutch out at anything but a snails pace - is this the clutch or gearbox? Or could it be a dodgy linkage?

If it helps we did have the water pump replaced six weeks ago - could the replacement of this had changed something that could impact the gearbox?

Is it worth fixing? or spares and repair?
Currently in gadgetuk's garage:
2000 Scenic 1.4 (48k) 2008 Mondeo 2.0TDCi Ghia - Soon to add a Grand Scenic 2005 1.9Dci Dynamique
