Hi again,

I have recently been told this might be related to the sensor that tells the heater plugs that the engine has started. This sensor then turns the plugs off.

If the plugs stay on, then the battery will drain rapidly, and the alternator will get hot. Both conditions that are present in my case.

What do you think?

p.s. beautiful day here. Far too good to be stuck in front of a computer screen. so off out to be stuck under a bonnet!!!
