Hi, Just need a little advice.
My old Renault Megane 1.4 RN 1997 has developed rust around the rear wheel arches, it doesn't look too substantial, I've poked it with my foot and it seems fairly solid, just top layer flaking.
I've been told by a work colleague to simply sand it, prime it and apply paint.
I've never done this kind of thing before. Will sand paper by hand be enough to remove the rust? Would I have to remove the wheels before applying paint (I presume it will be spray can)? Am I better off taking it to the local garage?
Any advice is welcome
