Sorry to hear of your Mum's mis-fortune mate.

As Dave says, Cobra are your best bet for aftermarket - for the reason that they actually supply Renault with the standard alarms so as Dave says you should be able to easily get one to interface with the Clio's RCL.

With regards to whether the Billabong Clio has an Alarm as standard, Parkers says only the Dynamique+ and up had an alarm as standard.

The sure-fire way to tell is to see if you have the sensors on the A-Pillars (they look like black sugar-cube sized speakers).
