Dash Warning lights

Hey Guys,

I've got a 52 plate Laguna and recently the toxic fuel light came on (constantly) however the car is running still running. Anyway I took it into my local Renault dealer who hooked it up to the diagnostic machine which told him there was nothing wrong. From this he concluded that it must have been a faulty / loose O2 sensor. He switched off the warning light and sent me on my way telling me to get back in touch if the light came on again.
After about 2 weeks trhe light came on again so i called him back. He has now quoted me 503 to replace the sensor!!!!
Apparently it's a big job!
Anyway, there is no way I'm paying that to swtich off a faulty light / sensor! Can anyone tell me how to reset this warning light as it's obviously just a loose connection.

I've had a a good look through the forums and can't find the answer can anyone help?
