Renault recommend driving with the head lights on for a few miles, maybe do that with the rubber bungs off the
back then wile they are still warm put them back so any
moisture can not get back in you never know it may work but dont hold your breath.
I think you've hit upon something in your reply that could be the answer! Don't breathe while you are driving! It's obviously the moisture in the breath thats causing things to steam up....
Now where did I put that diving helmet...
