Hello Dave.

There should be a number of connections into the back of the radio,the two ISO connections and also at least one if not two leads for the hand controls and the display.The connections for the former maybe different between the two sets though,I'm not sure when they changed but at some stage the connections were altered.

Make sure that all of the leads you have are plugged in,if they don't fit then you'll need to either modify the wiring or stick your 'paper weight' (,nice phrase) back on to eBay and source a set that will be a straight fit.

Just to confirm,you need the display and the hand controls to enter the code.You use the buttons and wheel on the stalk to enter the code,and you'll obviously need to see the display to see what your entering.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
