Just to clarify, is the spanner flashing or does it say "service"?
If the word "service" appears on your dash then that does NOT mean that a service is due. It is an indication that the vehicle has a fault. and you need to contact your nearest Renault main dealer, preferably the supplying one.
On older Renaults people used to mistakenly think that the SERV light indicated a service is due, whereas the flashing spanner actually indicated this.
It says service due does this mean there is a fault ???
