Very usefeul to learn I have to go behind the wheel arch liner to get to the petrol flap fixings. I'm needing to get in there and sort the central locking..... lock. Makes lots of noise but doesn't actually work.

With regards the boot push button. This seems to be a very common problem, just lok at all the Scenics on the roads without buttons! I replaced the rubber 'O' ring with some thick aluminium (no rust) florists wire bent around the shaft to directly replace the 'O' ring and it hasn't budged since. Just a thought.
