Hi, I wonder if anyone can help; I've got a 54 plate (2005) 2.2dci expression auto Espace which is booked in with my local Renault dealership for a replacement key card supplying and recoding next week, but the only card I now have (as I lost the spare last year), which was only just working when I booked the car in, has deteriorated to such a point that it will now not open or close the doors or start the car!
The car is parked uphill on a short drive with the front end close to the garage door - does anyone know what my options are to get it to the garage?
Is it possible to over-ride the handbrake and steering lock so that the car can be backed into the road for a recovery vehicle to winch it up for instance?
Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.
Have you changed the battery in the keycard? ... also the answer to the handbrake is YES ... steering lock NO.
Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
