Dont be swooned by the colour and the interior Helen, I know it probs look pretty, but at the end of the day if its not reliable and costing you an arm and a leg to repair / keep on the road , its not worth it.

Look in the free car mags that you get from Tesco's and the like too, the Autotrader webiste too like you said.

Trouble with going to see a car along way away, is that youve travelled all that way, and you just wanna buy it as you dont want a wasted trip and petrol money ! Thats when you end up with a lemon as your retiscent to walk away regardless of its issues.

I nearly fell into that trap when I bought my Mondeo. I saw a lovely Mk2 Zetec (the alloys and the spoiler grabbed my attention ) that was about 60 miles away. In the end my sister talked me out of it and her boyfriend (who is in the business) found me my car that was just 1 mile from my house
