The derv needs servicing more and tbh a 1.2/1.4 clio wont use HUGE amounts of fuel anyway dur to its weight (or lack of)

A 1.4 clio would be nippy enough.

I have had a renault diesel on the Dt range not the DCI and after having one (that went bang) and seen all the storys like dave said on the 1.9dci I wont have a renault derv again, Nor ever risk a renault auto!!

Got Tempted by another espace a few months ago, but 3.0's ONLY came in auto so was a no go!

Most faults dont make the engine nuke itself redline and burn all the oil then seize the engine!

Also parts prices got me with my espace!!

There are alarm bells about that car!

If your happy to buy from a dealer, may I suggest go to your local renault main dealer and have a look at there used cars, take a drive, dont write off the petrol clios without driving them.
