Hello Friends, With the frustrating problems of our Clio Key, the easy way out, explaned by the Locksmith, was to have a 'Normal' key cut, which we did. So, we now have a second key = Good!! -- Remember how it was Before the auto locking ?? Ok! single usage. Unlock drivers Door, get in and Start = No Problems.
To Lock. Make sure the passenger door is locked (from the Outside) Lock the rear doors, from Inside, plus Lock the Boot --- Then Lock Drivers Door and Done!!
Simple and Effective, just like it use to be. The Cost was £30 -- Saves us Both, a lot of confusion too. Have tried it several times and All seems to be Ok, though it will take a while before my partner will drive on her own. Once again, Thank You All for your suggestions to help us solve this er?? Nuisance and hope that it will help othere's, but only if they wish to return to the simple and easy way. Plus No Batteries to 'worry' about.
