My friend put his diagnostics on it and it came back with the p700 code.

He said it could just be the transmission fluid level being a bit low.

But for the life of me, i cant find where to check it or to put more in if needs be...

Bearing in mind, i don't really know too much about cars, but i have had a good look where the auto gear box is, but just cant find where to top up or check the levels..

Has anyone else had this error code before?

and could someone point me in the right direction with regards to topping up / checking the levels in the gearbox etc please?

Hi Phil,it sounds like the car has went into limp mode to protect the gear box? 3rd gear only, iam sorry i can't help you with the code but with regards to the transmission level in your car it can't be check by yourself only by your local independent or dealer as they use a diagnostic machine to do this, hope this helps Donald
