Are you changing both sides Plan?.
If so,if you have the older type 'non-spring loaded' offside inner type joint,make sure that the splines on the gearbox match up to the hole that runs through the shaft and the joint to be able to replace the roll pin.I think yours is right on the change over between them having the pin and not,but theres nothing worse than fitting the driveshaft,bolting it all back in,and realising the holes don't line up......not that I've done it.....ahem.......yes,well...
On the nearside,make sure that you have something ready to catch the
when you removed the old one and it's gaiter.Does the new shaft come with a gaiter?.If so,make sure that it seals correctly as you refill the gearbox
.They are a favorite leaking spot,and if they leak and you don't realise it,you know the consequences....
