Take the fob apart and look at the circuit board.Sometimes the solder holding the the sender unit in gets damaged,and if your careful you can repair it with a very small soldering iron.I have also known the circuit board corrode after water gets into the fob.You can try using an electrical contact cleaner and sometimes this will help,other times it's a new fob,unfortunately....
