Thanks Martin

Hi Martin,
Pleased you got it fixed but sorry about the expense. Sussed mine out now,--both bulbs seem to have blown- I left the cowl (cover) off & went out in the car today, with the bulbs removed and the cover off the sun shines through the holes and the opaque housing. It was well bright enough to see that it is working fine so I know it will be ok when I replace the bulbs. While I had it out I dimantled it and behind the display matrix is a piece of orange thin plastic, it gets quite black on the inside due to the unit being lit all the time, it wipes off dead easy as it's only like soot. I shone a torch through a bulb hole and it is really bright as when new. Problem now sorted.
Thanks for getting back to me. Ed.
