It's either a broken wire in the rubber channel between the door and car or a duff locking motor thingy, I'm not experienced with the actual locking mechanisms but the motor/solenoid? not sure which it is, may be jammed or needing replaced.
If you can get into it - it may be worth shorting the live wire to earth very briefly to get it to unjam. Otherwise I'd say replace it.
Please note that if you follow my shorting suggestion then you do so at your own risk, if it fooks things up I won't be held responsible.
All I can say is I did the shorting method with the wifes' old Astra and it cured it after the dealer was stumped by the problem, though the key wouldn't open any doors in this instance.
