I would like to know if any one can help? I have had a problem with my 2003 clio for a while now. The front brakes discs warp abd then i get them replaced. within 2 month it happens again. this has happened 3 times. Each garage i take it to cannot give me any answers. the hand brake also is regularly sticky and hae been checke dout several times too. Generally i find the clio a good running car but this experience is becoming some what tiresome!!
can anyone one offer any advice as so-called profesional mechanics can't seem to help.
thanks a lot
Hello swharton, hard to say without seeing the disks, but for starters, I'd go for either sticky brake calipiers or excessive heavy breaking ... I've done this before on an EspaceIV with vented disks, several quick stops on the autobahn from 120mph 'ish on one journey ... result ... disks warped .... just not made for that kind of use/abuse ... poor quality in my opinion ... did they sell the Espace in Germany? ... and they didnt think it would be used at those speeds ... ?
Hope it helps
Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
