Thanks for that Noel & Oliver. The 1st place we tried for a spare was Bosal who said its a Renault only part. We then got the part number and cross referenced it with Laguna & Espace models with the 2.2dCi engine with no luck. Next avenue is to check for likeless with the 2.5dCi Traffic van to see if its similar. Renault have really designed to system badly, there is no support from the cat back the length of the car until you reach the rear box, if you just touch the rear box with your little finger you can see the whole system flex and shake, its no wonder the pipe sheared off where it did. It looks like the previous owner had the same problem, got it welded back together and got rid of the car to save the expense. Welding it will last very short term but the problem will return unfortunately.
