Thank you Donald for your prompt reply. On a slightly different note, whenI first got the car, I assumed, at night, that because the digital dash was illuminated as soon as the engine was running, the headlights must be on as well. This was compounded by driving in town and having the street light illumination all around. It took me a while to cop on to why other drivers were flashing me at night time - I had no lights on! I replaced the dash side / headlight telltales and never drive off now without looking to see if they're lit up.
Hi no problems Gary your welcome,its only the speedo and other things like temp guage a fuel guage that are light up during the day with no control over them and like i said its only when the lights are on that you can dim it to suit you mood so they don't burn your eyeballs out
