It all sounds interlinked.
The steering wheel should be locked in the straightahead position, then an alignment check should be made if new parts have been fitted.
Its simple enough, but requires garage tools to correct.
I'd take this up with the people who did the work.
Thanks Paul, think I might take it back and ask them to have another look. I surpose its not the end of the world driving with the steering wheel turned.
