the number they have given is 6025371152 £340.78 +vat plus fitting,or the hazard switch 7700822955 at£20 ish.

the intermittent fault of the hazards coming on has nearly gone now the warmer weather has arrived,so will see if a firm in Luton can test the unit, and we will go from there.

has anybody had an ecu tested and repaired?

manythanks for any reply
Ah,the wonders of modern technology!!

We have had many ECU 's tested and repaired with excellent results.I suppose it depends on the individual doing the work, but repairing ECU 's rather than replacing them is far cheaper and we are yet to have any reliability issues with repaired ones.

Are the hazards coming on as when they feel like it?.Just a thought, but it's not alarm related,is it?.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
