There is a special adhesive which can be purchased for around £10 called Tiger Seal.
It is a bit messy, so be careful in applying it, but it forms a tough, but flexible bond (it's used to stick spoilers/bodykits in place).
I use it quite often to re-bond door rubbing strips, side window trims, and even wing mirrors - so can vouch for its durability.
Hope this helps,
Hi Paul, any ideas if there are any problems when the windscreen need replacing? I thought Tiger Seal was pretty permanent. Could it cause damage to the sealing strip and/or surrounding bodywork when they have to remove it to fit the new screen?
