My Megane scenic (currently in limp mode) has been diagnosed (via a code reader) with faulty fuel injection circuitry. Another mechanic has said that particular fault would not have put the car into limp mode and suggests that the gearbox needs to be stripped down and rebuilt. In your opinion(s), are the
error codes known to get it wrong sometimes?
Half way to a solution, and wanted to let you know that apparently the fault is possibly in the speed sensor. Can anyone say how much that part should cost (ball park), not including two hours to fit?
