The voice synth shouldnt tell you each time you get into the car that its checking systems. It supposed to be silent unless you have a problem. Well it never did on my Priviledge model, and I cant see them changing it for the next model up in the range. It will say its "checking systems" if you press the button and theres nothing wrong with the car. If there is a reason for it to tell you something, like the washer bottle fluid is low, then pressing the button again after you've been told about this once will repeat the message.

I wouldnt worry about too much. Just wait till your tyre pressure sensors go up the swanny, then you'll be fed up on the voice synth talking to you !

Oh and welcome to the forums.
