I'll be honest here, I was very surprised it passed with that part so badly and obviously rotten through. I'm glad it did because I can sort it at my leisure now and not have to worry about it but even so, I was surprised. Plus it has jagged sharp edges which might be good for collecting road kill but I understood that jagged sharp edges were a no, no where MOT's are concerned, lol.
Pat.w, yet again you come up with an excellent suggestion and it makes me wonder if there are already pre-made off the shelf drill bits that have a smaller shank to fit the smaller chuck sizes.
I wonder if my drill will have the all ecompassing He-man muscles to be able to fully turn it though or whether the bit would snag in the steel with such a large cutting area?
I guess there'd be one way to find out.
