There come's a time in every cars life when you have to consider whether it's worth keeping it or not.
Personally, I'd opt for the upgrade as I could bet your bottom dollar you'll have more troubles in the future. That's not to say you'll not end up buying an upgrade and finding all sorts of problems starting with that, problems of secondhand and new, in some cases, motoring
Would it cost you less than £2.5k to fix everything and pre-empt future problems on your current car.......do you love it that much or do you fancy a change anyhow????
