Personally speaking Andy, I'd consider it.
£1500 is pretty close to what the market price is for your car (I only got £2500 for mine, and at one point I was offered £1000 against a 6-month Chrysler 300C).
If the Espace is in good enough condition (and you know from here what the faults are), try getting a bit more for your own car as a sweetner to clinch the deal.
That money can pay for a decent warranty, a couple of services and your tax & insurance - therefore you get a sound car, plus a year's free motoring (excluding fuel of course).
This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
