Im asking "where" as it looks as though half the rails of the sliding roof is hidden under the fixed roof. So I dont want to just apply gunk, the wrong gunk, and for it to get sucked into the wrong places.

Don't laugh but I have used KY gel in the past for faults like this.
The gel is water based and will not affect the rubber seals like normal grease/oils.
