I'd go with what's on the sticker on the driver's door pillar, rather than a service book - dealers sometimes miss out letters/transpose numbers (human error).
I can't go into specific models, unfortunately. but what i would say is that quite often there are different formulas available for brighter or darker variations of a specific paint code (they can vary by batch). That is why trade counters will also have paint chips to match against the car.
If it is the same paint code, then any differences should not be apparent, as the bumper will be all one colour, and there will be a natural break between one panel and the next.
This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
