The lights always come on on ignition but go out straight away, I assume that's standard, it's been a while since my last Renault, so I can't remember if the old one (1999 RT Sport, phase 2) was the same.
It was parked in the sun for about 1 1/2 hours, and the top rad pipe was hot to the touch when i checked the coolant, so I'm assuming the t-stat had opened, (or it was just residual heat from our wonderful weather?) If it was over-warm from the conditions, you would think the fan would come on if needed, but that hasn't kicked in since I've had it, and it's been warm all week.
Can't understand why the temp light would be on otherwise.
