Laguna 1.8 Sport won't start - possible immobiliser problem
I have just had the AA out to my car as it wouldn't start. They weren't able to get it going and advised me to contact an Auto electrician or Renault dealer. He did spend an hour on it so i couldn't complain!!
Anyway, he has diagnosed the problem to be a wiring loom fault possibly to do with the immobiliser.
He noticed that there is no engine management light (known as injection warning light) or immobiliser light showing on the dash when the ignition is turned on and he said this is very strange.
He checked fuses etc and relays and discovered that there is no voltage going to the injectors. His laptop also recorded a number of faults regarding the immobiliser.
Has anyone got any ideas otherwise i may have to scrap the car as i can't afford the repairs.
Thanks for looking
