I would just run some wire down to one of the head lights and tap into the wiring for the side lights using scotch locks.
Doesn't matter about polarity for lights so just connect each wire from the washers to each wire going into the side light bulb.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
